Kick off your 2025 MISBO Annual Conference experience with one of two engaging Pre-Conference Workshops, taking place on Wednesday, October 22, from 2:00–4:30 PM. Be sure to select your preferred session when registering.
Workshop I, led by Tyler Enslin, focuses on Effective Feedback. Creating a culture of candid feedback is essential for both individual and organizational growth. Without it, productivity suffers, communication breaks down, and engagement declines. This interactive workshop will equip participants with practical tools to deliver feedback that is both challenging and empathetic, while also developing the skills to receive feedback constructively. Though particularly valuable for leaders, the content is relevant to professionals at all levels.
Workshop II, led by Ari Betof, EdD, MBA, Co-Founder and Partner, MIssion & Data, and Christina Dotchin, Vice-President of Member Relations, Enrollment Management Association (EMA), explores how independent schools can align mission, enrollment strategy, and financial sustainability in today’s competitive and uncertain environment. Drawing on insights from the Enrollment Management Association’s 2025 report An Independent School Education: Family Perceptions of Value and Affordability and the 2022 EMA-NBOA-NAIS Cost-Per-Enrollment Study, this interactive session offers practical, data-informed strategies to meet net tuition revenue and enrollment goals while building long-term financial health. Designed for Heads of School, CFOs, and senior leaders, the session provides tools for tuition strategy, institutional collaboration, and sustainable decision-making.
