Event Policies

Payment for events may be made by credit or debit card. Contact us if you would like ACH.

The cancellation deadline for events is two weeks prior to the beginning of an event. Before that date, refunds will be given less a $50 processing fee. After that date, no refunds will be given but replacement registrants are welcomed. Cancellations and replacement registrants should be submitted in writing to Lisa Flowers at lisaflowers@misbo.com.

If for any reason MISBO needs to cancel an event, or changes its format (example - live to virtual) and you elect not to attend, the following refund policy will apply.

Attendee will have the option to receive:

  • An 80% refund of registration fees, OR
  • A 100% credit toward a MISBO event within the next 12 months, up to the amount paid. Credit is transferable to anyone else in the attendee's school.

No refunds shall be made for travel expenses related to the conference. Attendees who purchase non-refundable airline tickets do so at their own risk.

Registrations from someone employed outside of a school will only be accepted at MISBO’s discretion. Contact the Director of Professional Development with any questions or concerns.

Participation in MISBO events signifies an attendee’s acknowledgment of infectious and other diseases and voluntary assumption of the risk of exposure or infection by attending the event. Attendees agree to comply with all guidelines and procedures, including distancing and/or masking, that may be implemented by MISBO, in accordance with recommendations from the CDC and other public health authorities.
