Michelle Shea

Named as the Vice President for MISBO in November 2017, Michelle supports all initiatives at MISBO. With a professional background in marketing, she focuses on mass communications, including our website and social media content as well as all print materials. Michelle was primarily responsible for MISBO’s rebranding effort in 2016. In 2022 Michelle earned her CPSP (Certified Plan Sponsor Professional) designation to add support and expertise for The Independent School Group Retirement Plan.

Prior to joining MISBO, Michelle served as the Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications for The Rumson Country Day School in New Jersey. Before entering the intriguing world of independent schools, Michelle was a successful entrepreneur and business consultant for 10 years after serving 15 years in the corporate world as either Director of Marketing or in boutique advertising agencies. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with concentrations in finance, management, and marketing from Monmouth University in New Jersey.
