PERSPECTIVE, PERMISSIONS, & PROXIMITY: CENTERING CHANGE MANAGEMENT in Three P's
Demands for change in our schools arrive in myriad shapes and sizes, but they share an increasing urgency. All around us are accelerating shifts... in culture, in the marketplace, in best practice, and far more. Schools have had and will continue to have a difficult time keeping up, particularly as they strive to balance the characteristics that make each of our schools unique with a need and desire to move toward what will best serve their students and families in a transforming world. With that in mind, Ross Peters, Vice President of EXPLO Elevate, will lead us through a discussion of three related concepts that, taken together, will focus our change management efforts. Ross will share thinking related to perspective construction, permission creation, and leadership proximity. Please join us!
Meet the Speaker
Ross Peters is Vice President for EXPLO Elevate, an innovative schools cooperative. His work focuses on independent schools and their national and regional associations in the areas of strategic planning, change management, board practice, and curriculum development. Since his time at PDS, he has made an impact as a teacher and administrator in a range of schools, including Asheville School, Hawken School, The Westminster Schools, and St. George’s Independent School.
