What’s Law Got to Do With It?

Attend this webinar to ensure you have the right answers to these questions and to learn three concrete steps toward reducing possible legal exposure in your hiring process.

Meet the Speaker

Heather J. Broadwater advises independent schools nationwide on issues related to the management of human resources and relationships with other constituencies, from students to parents to boards. She is a partner at Potomac Law Group, PLLC, and a regular speaker at independent school conferences. Heather received her JD from the Georgetown University Law Center, MHR from the University of South Carolina, and her BA in sociology from the Honors College at the University of South Carolina. As a graduate business student, Heather reviewed turnover and helped develop a new hiring tool for a local school system.

All webinars are $50 per session but are FREE to anyone from a MISBO member school. Webinars are one hour in length and begin at 2pm ET


CPE Credit

MISBO is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
