Join Adam Polacek and Brian Nick from TIAA for insights on the U.S. and world economies and what you can expect in the weeks and months ahead. They will provide an update on the strength and stability of TIAA during these uncertain times, while also providing a product and performance update on several notable TIAA and CREF investment products. Take a closer look at the current financial market landscape including the impact of COVID-19 on the overall economy, key market drivers, demand destruction and what that means, the U.S. economy, policy and politics, investing in TIAA, and the broader market.

Meet the Speakers

Adam PolacekAdam Polacek leads the TIAA Institutional Investment Strategy team, providing investment consulting and analysis with a focus on TIAA and CREF retirement income products, custom QDIA solutions, and delivering open architecture menu design services. Over his 20 years at TIAA, Adam has broad experience across a variety of investment and client roles. He helped to lead the initial build-out of TIAA’s open architecture program, the introduction of auto-enrollment and auto-escalation plan design features, and the early development of TIAA’s plan sponsor consulting services efforts. Adam has also led the TIAA Investments/Nuveen Client Portfolio Management team, providing institutional and retail clients with timely portfolio analysis and market insights. Adam is a CFA charterholder and is a member of the CFA Society of Chicago. He holds a B.S. in finance from Illinois State University, and an MBA. from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business. Adam holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 24 licenses.

Brian NickBrian Nick has over 15 years of experience analyzing economic and market data and developing investment strategies for client portfolios. As Chief Investment Strategist, Brian is a member of Nuveen's Global Investment Committee, where he works closely with the firm's investment leaders to identify investment trends and provide insights on events driving market activity. He is also a voting member of the asset allocation committee of Nuveen's parent company, TIAA. Brian graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics and government from Dartmouth College and a master's degree in economics from New York University, and holds the designation of Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).

All webinars are $50 per session but are FREE to anyone from a MISBO member school. Webinars are one hour in length and begin at 2pm ET.
