Meet the Speakers
Harold G. (Buzz) Hartsig III currently serves as the Managing Director of Operations at Cafaro Greenleaf/Carroll Consultants. With over 25 years of experience in the qualified retirement plan industry, Buzz has extensive experience in the oversight and operations of retirement plans and assisting plan fiduciaries with their fiduciary responsibilities. He has consistently used his knowledge and experience to deliver best practices and innovative tools to better serve clients. Buzz has spent his entire professional career in planning, designing, and implementation as well as sales and servicing of retirement plans for public and private corporations, healthcare organizations, and not-for-profit entities. Buzz graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, concentrating in actuarial science. Buzz has worked with Carroll Consultants for the past 23 years where he gained experience with defined contribution and defined benefit plan designs, plan administration, record keeping, investments, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Buzz enjoys proactively collaborating with clients to help design plans and procedures to meet client objectives for their qualified plans.
Patrick J. (Pat) Gallagher currently serves as a Senior Retirement Plan Administrator in Cafaro Greenleaf/Carroll Consultants' Philadelphia office. Pat has over 40 years of experience in the design and administration of all types of Defined Contribution plans, including 401(k) and 403(b) plans. His knowledge of the many design features and complex IRS compliance requirements keeps clients on track to achieve their retirement goals. Throughout the years, Pat has worked with many recordkeepers and has been involved with the full life cycle of retirement plans, from plan design to installation, administration, and termination.

All webinars are $50 per session but are FREE to anyone from a MISBO member school. Webinars are one hour in length and begin at 2pm ET.

MISBO is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
