Restructuring, Retaining, Developing, and Hiring Cabinet-Level Talent: Challenges Every School Leader Must Be Ready to Face
A high-functioning executive cabinet is essential for any school to live out its mission and execute its strategic plan. How each school gets there can be very different depending on needs, circumstances, and constraints. The right lever could be departmental restructuring, a new retention strategy, internal talent development, or an external search for new talent. Through several case studies this presentation will provide guidance and insight on when to employ each of these strategies, and how to be more creative, nimble, and successful once the right strategy is chosen.
