2023 was quite a busy year for Springshare! We’ve added a lot of new features and functionality to our products and are excited to share a recap of all this great development with the MISBO community. This session is perfect for librarians looking to learn about new features as well as anyone investigating Springshare for the first time!
Session attendees will:
- Learn about product updates to LibGuides CMS, LibWizard, and LibCal (the MISBO Suite)
- Gather ideas about how to successfully deploy Springshare products at their own library
- View examples from Springy clients worldwide
Speakers
Sarah N. Probst is the Consortium Sales Manager at Springshare. Prior to joining Springshare, she worked for several library consortia in the US, primarily in eResources management and member services. She received her MLIS from The University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa and is an avid Crimson Tide football fan - much to the chagrin of her husband and family. Sarah resides in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania with her partner and two fuzzy office assistants, Seraphina and Jack.
Steven Galbraith, with his unique blend of finance and education experience, is a seasoned team builder and corporate strategist. His personal journey as a parent has deepened his understanding of education's real-world needs, giving him a unique perspective on the challenges that need to be addressed. His professional background in finance and capital markets has nurtured his problem-solving skills, enhancing his ability to build successful teams and companies. His valuable contribution to Tappy’s mission lies in leveraging these skills to foster a robust, future-proof education system focused on the students and teachers. His insights have shaped the company's path, reinforcing their commitment to improving education.
Eric Smith brings a wealth of experience drawn from decades of immersion in the educational landscape. Having observed thousands of classroom lessons and collaborated extensively with faculty across diverse content areas, he has developed an unmatched depth of insights. These experiences have influenced Tappy’s mission to simplify and enhance teaching by providing an actionable roadmap.
