Early Childhood Lead Teacher

St. Martin’s Episcopal School seeks a culturally competent and responsive faculty member to teach in our Early Childhood division for the 2019-2020 academic school year.  This position will teach in one of the following grade levels:  toddlers, 3s, or Pre-K, and work closely with an Early Childhood Teaching Assistant.  

Candidates must have the ability and interest in working with children ages 2-5, as well as a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree preferred.  An understanding of Early Childhood Education is required, and 3-5 years of classroom experience is preferred.  The ideal candidate will have a genuine ability to “connect” with students.  Desire to plan and work collaboratively on a team is essential.  Faculty must be willing to actively participate in committees and school-life outside the classroom.  Interest in coaching and/or advising clubs is a plus.
