Business Manager

The Business Manager reports directly to and works under the supervision of the Head of School. The Business Manager is the primary accounting and financial officer, responsible for maintaining financial integrity at the Academy, including the oversight of accounting, investments, risk management and audit/compliance operations. This position is also responsible for the oversight of human resources functions (payroll, employee benefits), procurement/contracting and maintenance of the Academy’s campus and physical plant. This position has four direct reports; The Accounting Supervisor, two Maintenance and one Housekeeping staff, as well as two indirect reports, both Accounting Clerks. The Business Manager is a member of the Academy Leadership Team and works a full-time, 12-month schedule.
